About The turnips

The Turnip Network started in September 2003, after the closure of
the 41st Bromley Venture scout unit. The Turnip network consists of
Scouts aged between 18-25, we meet on Thursdays at the 32nd Scout hut in George
Lane, Hayes.
The Turnip network runs itself by having it’s own Executive
Committee. This includes the following positions: Chairman, Vice- Chairman,
Treasurer and Secretary.
We have currently 20 members in the network and are
regularly gaining new members, eight of these are studying at uni.
Also we have been on camps to Wlberforce, Down, Bristol, Dover,Spain,The Gambia and many more. We are an active bunch and will try anything new.
