As the festive season of joy and laughter approaches, yet another year has passed us by. The thrills of Sainsburys will soon be upon us, and after the hard work of packing those ‘happy customers’ shopping bags, a break is in order. How will you enjoy the New Year? Well the event of 2008 is just around the corner!
You have been invited to the Bromley Network Winter Camp 2008 – ‘Turnips come Dancing’.
Venue: Bentley Copse Campsite, Shere, Surrey.
Date: 4th- 6th January 2008

A first original idea (and the last) from the organisers means you will get to shake your booty and swing them hips, as a dance competition will take place. You may think to yourself “but I can’t dance”; well, this competition will not only be judged on technical ability, but also creativity and style. A panel of judges will decide your fate; will you be crowned Turnip Come-Dancing Champion?
The competition will take place on the Saturday evening from 8pm. You will be required to dress up in suitable dancing costumes. Partners will be selected from a hat by the organisers as soon as we have confirmation that you would like to take part in the competition. As soon as you find out who your partner is, get straight to the dance floor and start getting your freak on in preparation. You and your partner will need to choose an appropriate music track for your style of dancing, and come up with a riveting routine to accompany said music.
